Day 01 : Airport / Delhi
Arrive
at Delhi airport; get assistance upon arrival and a transfer to the hotel,
stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi
Have breakfast at the hotel. Later, leave for a full day tour of New & Old Delhi. Old Delhi was one of the capitals of Muslim India between the 12th and 13th centuries. Its bustling roads and lanes are full of historical and interesting monuments like the Jama Masjid, Red Fort (view from out side), Gandhi Samadhi. Drive past the busy lanes of Chandni Chowk. In the afternoon, leave for a half-day tour of New Delhi, a city designed by the British emperor. Visit the India Gate, Rastrapathi Bhawan (Presidential House) Government Buildings and the famous Qutab Minar. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03 : Delhi / Jaipur
Have breakfast at the hotel. Later, drive for Jaipur via Samode. Arrive Jaipur and proceed onwards to the hotel. Have the rest of the day to yourself. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 : Jaipur
Have breakfast at the hotel. Later, leave for a full day tour of Amber fort, which was constructed by Mansingh I in 1592 and was completed by Jai Singh II. Enjoy a short Elephant ride from the foothill till the fort. Visit the Jag Mandir and enjoy the beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu style architecture. Later, visit the Hawa Mahal, which is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Visit the Jantar Mantar, the best of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II. Later, visit the city palace, which has a delightful blend of Mughal and Rajasthan architecture. Drive past the busy Pink City. Have the rest of the evening free. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05 : Jaipur / Agra
Early
morning after breakfast drive for Agra via Sikri, also known as deserted
city. It was built in Red Sandstone by Emperor Akbar as his capital in the
late 16th Century. Visit the Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the
world. Later, drive to Agra. Arrive Agra and check into your hotel. Spend
the afternoon relaxing. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06 : Agra
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for a half-day tour of Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Taj Mahal was built in the memory of Mumtaz Mahal, the Queen of Shahjahan, in 1631. This marble dream took almost 22 years to be constructed and was completed in 1653. It is one of the wonders of the world. Later, visit the Agra fort which lies on the bend of the River Yamuna. Drive through the busy streets back to your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 : Agra / Jhansi
Have an early breakfast. Then, get a transfer to the railway station, where you will board the Shatabdi Express for Jhansi. Arrive Jhansi and proceed to Khajuraho, where you will check in to a hotel. Khajuraho is famous for its temples, which are architecturally unique, being very different from the others. The temples of Khajuraho are famous for the eroticism etched on their walls in the form of sculptures. An amalgamation of science and art of architecture, these 10th-11th century temples have a very interesting legend behind them that connects them to the origin of Chandela dynasty. There are Western and Eastern Group Temples consisting of Kandariya Mahadeo, Lakshmana Temple, Paravanath Temple and Adinath Temple and many more. In the evening, visit the Eastern Temples. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 08 : Khajuraho / Varanasi
Have
breakfast at the hotel. Later in the morning, leave for a half-day tour of
the Western Temples. Early afternoon, go to the airport for a flight to
Varanasi. Arrive Varanasi and check in at the hotel. Varanasi, the Hindu
City, stands on the banks of the Holy River Ganga, a city of more than 1000
temples and shrines. In the evening, visit the Ganga Ghat to see the evening
Ganga Puja. Later, return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 09 : Varanasi
Early in the morning, leave for the Ganga Ghats to enjoy the early morning boat ride and honor the raising of Surya (The Sun). This serves as a good opportunity for photography. Later, return back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, leave for a half-day tour of Sarnath, en route visiting the city temples. Sarnath is the place where Gautam Buddha gave his first sermon after he received enlightenment. Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10 : Varanasi / Kathmandu
Have breakfast at the hotel. Later, go to the airport for a flight to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu, get assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Have the rest of the day to yourself. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11 : Katmandu
Have breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, leave for a half day city tour of Pashupatinath Temple, Buddha Stupa & Swambhunath (Monkey Temple). Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 12 : Kathmandu
After
breakfast at the hotel, proceed to the ancient city of Nepal, Bhaktapur
Durbar Square ( Badgaon ) and Patan, the UNESCO Heritage Site. Spend the
rest of the day on your own. In the evening, proceed for a farewell dinner
to a typical Nepalese Restaurant while being entertained with a Nepalese
Cultural Programme. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 13 : Kathmandu / Delhi
After breakfast at the hotel, go to the airport and board a flight to Delhi. On arriving at Delhi, proceed onwards to your next destination.
