Day 01 : Cochin Apt - Hotel ( 30
kms / 45 mini)
Arrival
at Cochin Apt/ Rly. Transfer to Cochin Hotel. Check in your hotel around
12:00 hrs. After lunch, proceed for sight seeing of Cochin - Cochin is
situated on the shore of the Arabian Sea, and is popularly known as the
Queen of the Arabian Sea. It is the commercial capital of Kerala. Later,
through sightseeing, you will see the magnificent Mattancherry Palace, the
colourful Jewish Synagogue and the St. Francis Church where Vasco da Gama
was first buried. A short walk away, is the ethnic Chinese fishing nets,
introduced to Cochin from the court of Kublai Khan. In the evening proceed
to view a Kath Kali with make up demonstration. Stay overnight at Cochin.
Day 02 : Cochin -Thekkady ( 192 kms / 6 hrs.)
After breakfast, proceed to Thekkady (Periyar Wild life Sanctuary). On reaching Thekkady, check in your hotel. Thekkady is a repository of rare and endangered flora and fauna, the valley is a major watershed for two important rivers-the Periyar and the Pamba. In the afternoon go for a boat ride at Periyar Tiger reserve to view the wildlife in the sanctuary. The boat ride on the lake is a delightful way of spotting elephants and avifauna, for which the park is well known. Stay overnight at Thekkady.
Day 03 : Thekkady - Varkala ( 230 kms / 6 hrs. )
After breakfast, depart to Varkala. Varkala beach is one of the famous beaches in Kerala. It is knows as Papanasham Beach (Papanasham means redemption from sins). This quiet, secluded stretch of sand is known for its mineral springs and rocky cliffs. Spend the night at hotel.
Day 04 : Varkala - Kovalam ( 60 kms / 1 hrs.)
After breakfast, transfer to Kovalam, this is considered as the Paradise of the South. This tiny beach is a major tourist attraction. It is a picture perfect tropical beach. Kovalam means a grove of coconut trees and it is true to its name. On reaching Kovalam, check in your hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing at this beautiful beach resort.
Day 05 : Kovalam

Day 06 : Kovalam - Alleppey ( 179 kms / 4 hrs.)
After
breakfast transfer to Alleppey, popularly known as the "Venice of the
East". Here a houseboat awaits you, for a magnificent backwater cruise.
You will be able to observe how Kerala functioned in the earlier days from
today's modernization. These backwaters were the only means of transport to
carry inland products to the coast. The narrow canal cuts through the
countryside and you are transported to a place where time stands still. An
eventful day passes and you turn in for the night after a fresh sumptuous
dinner. Overnight at the houseboat.
Day 07 : Alleppey - Cochin ( 60 kms / 1hrs.)
After a leisure breakfast, bid adieu to your crew and drive to Cochin Apt/ Rly.
