Kerala Houseboat Tour

Day 01 : Cochin Apt - Alleppey (House boat) ( 80 kms / 2 hrs)
Arrival at Cochin, transfer to Alleppey ( 80 kms / 1 and half hrs. ), popularly known as the "Venice of the East". On reaching Alleppey around 13:00 hrs Here a houseboat awaits you, for a magnificent backwater cruise. You will be able to observe how Kerala functioned in the earlier days, from today's modernization. These backwaters were the only means of transport to carry inland products to the coast. The narrow canal cuts through the countryside and you are transported to a place where time stands still. An eventful day passes and you turn in for the night after a fresh sumptuous dinner. Overnight at the houseboat.

Day 02 : Alleppey - Cochin ( 60 kms / 1 hrs.)
After a leisure breakfast, bid adieu to your crew and drive to Cochin. Check into your hotel. After lunch, proceed for sight seeing of Cochin - Cochin is situated on the shore of the Arabian Sea, and is popularly known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea. It is the commercial capital of Kerala. Later, go sightseeing - the magnificent Mattancherry Palace, the colourful Jewish Synagogue and the St. Francis Church where Vasco da Gama was first buried. A short walk away, is the ethnic Chinese fishing nets, introduced to Cochin from the court of Kublai Khan. In the evening proceed to view a Kath Kali show in an amphitheatre with Mudras and make up demonstration. Overnight at Cochin.
Day 03 : Cochin
After breakfast, depart for Cochin Airport with everlasting sweet memories of your trip.
